What does the Surface Guard do?
It's a heat-resistant silicone mat that sits under your fire pit, so you can set up on a deck, patio, table, or grass without worrying about heat damage underneath.
Which size do I need — PACKFIRE or Ember?
The PACKFIRE Surface Guard is 24" in diameter and made for the full-size PACKFIRE 22” fire pit. The Ember Surface Guard is 13" in diameter and sized specifically for the compact 10" Ember. Check which fire pit you own before ordering, since the two aren't interchangeable.
What's it made of, and how do I clean it?
Durable, heat-resistant silicone about 0.2" thick. It wipes down easily after use and is built for repeated trips from the backyard to the campsite.
How much does it weigh?
The PACKFIRE Surface Guard weighs 3.7 lbs; the Ember Surface Guard weighs 1.1 lbs. Both are lightweight and flexible enough to roll or fold for packing.
