Very useful addition to my PackFire and Ember

"After receiving the PackFire, I could not wait for the accessories, and everything I've purchased has been incredibly well thought out, very useful (essential in my case), and beautifully executed. The splitter is no exception. Robustly made with heavy steel, with holes to use ground stakes or nail into a wood round if needed, but I found it was secure without staking down. The included mallet is very heavy duty, so you can split with ease. It comes neatly packed in its heavy duty case for easy transport when camping. I have virtually everything PackFire offers, with the exception of firewood, as I have more than enough of that here in the PNW. I could not be more impressed with my purchases. Everything works so well together, and the quality is unmatched. Note, the photos include the ash bin, which came at the same time as the splitter."

"I have other splitters but this one folds, has a carry case, and includes a heavy duty mallet. Perfect to take camping or wherever you need to make some firewood and kindling for your firepit. The splitter can be staked or nailed down. PackFire products are of the highest quality, very well designed. I highly recommend both sizes of firepit and all of the accessories!"

Yes! PACKFIRE uses innovative technology to maximize airflow and heat circulation to cut down smoke. However, when you start a fire, initial smoke is impossible to stop immediately. Also, like all fire pits, proper fuel makes the biggest difference. We recommend using dry, seasoned wood.

PACKFIRE doesn't have a dedicated grill, but you can roast marshmallows, hotdogs, and other campfire snacks. Cooking accessories may be available in the future! Stay tuned by signing up to our newsletter.
